It’s not only fans that are missing their all-time favorite series! Jennifer Aniston is also missing the old days with the friends.

The actress and businesswoman mentioned in an interview with Instyle how nostalgic it felt for her whenever any remembrance of the “Friends” series came up nowadays.

“I miss a lot about that time. Having a job that was absolute, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words,” she said. “So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic. Anything can make me go, ‘Aww’.”

“Friends” is a 1994 TV sitcom that revolved around six friends who live in Manhattan and featured their comedic and romantic adventures in their 20s and 30s.

Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) starred along with Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller).

“On Instagram, Courteney recently posted an old photo of all of us on a jet together before the show had even aired... The level of gratitude, my god,” she said. “When Friends began, we were all so wide-eyed and bushy-tailed. We couldn’t believe what was happening, and we had no idea what was coming.”

What they had no idea back then was that “Friends” would later create a generation of viewers who use Joey’s “How you doin’?” catchphrase on a daily basis, inspire “hangout” style sitcom TV series, and be the last sitcom to ever grab the top spot in viewer rankings.

The series lasted ten seasons and ended in 2004.

Aniston also mentioned feeling much simpler and safer back in the '90s.

"When I think back on the ’90s, it makes me nostalgic — period. They were simpler times. This is going to sound odd, but there was a sense of safety in the world. We weren’t exposed to as much as we are now."

Here's one thing she missed from the old days: the connection.

"Even if there was just as much shit going on, we didn’t necessarily have it in our faces 24/7. It was lighter. There was a lot more human connection," she said.

The actress also shared about experiencing personal difficulty and unease with being in front of the camera and how the sitcom helped her get through it.

“I started to find my confidence when I was on Friends, for sure. In a way, being on that show was the ultimate trust exercise. There was comfort in numbers there, so we all held each other up.”

"Friends" can be streamed through Netflix.
