Happy Birthday Demi Lovato! 20 Things You Likely Didn't Know About This Latina Superstar

She started out as a child star, but Demi Lovato is most definitely not a child anymore. The singer and actress has gone through a lot in the past years, but she keeps a positive attitude and says she has grown stronger and healthier with these experiences. Having started her career when she was only seven years old drew attention from kids at school, where she was bullied horribly and was pulled out to be home-schooled. Later on, her career as a singer took off as she started touring with the Jonas Brothers but she had to cut it short in 2010 to go seek help, and checked into rehab at the age of 18.

Although she says she will never get use to being famous, most of Lovato’s emotional and health problems seem to be behind her. She looks better than ever, as she continues on her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas, rocking the stage and impressing her fans with her awesome vocals. For that and more we celebrate her 24th birthday on August 20 with these facts you probably didn't know about Demi!
