iPhone 5S vs iPhone 5: The Latest Apple Smartphone Is 31 Percent Faster Due To New A7 Processor Chip

Apple consumers prepare for glory! The iPhone 5S is rumored to be equipped with Apple's next generation A7 processor. So what does that mean for you? According to Fox News' Clayton Morris, the iPhone 5S will be approximately 31 percent faster than iPhone 5, which is equipped with the current A6 chip. The news anchor tweeted, "Sources are telling me the new iPhone's A7 chip is running at about 31% faster than A6. I'm hearing it's very fast."

If Apple does include the A7 processor in the iPhone 5S, the next-generation smartphone will be a gem of a device. According to 9to5Mac, Apple is currently testing the A7 chip in prototypes, with the inclusion of the next-generation processor; the iPhone 5S will out perform the iPhone 5 per watt and in regards to animated graphics. With the 64-bit A7 chip and iOS 7 in the iPhone 5S, consumers are in for a fluid experience.

However, this exciting development is not the only thing rumored to be in store for the iPhone 5S. In a separate tweet, Morris stated that the iPhone 5S will ship with a new chip inside that is dedicated to motion tracking. Apple seems to be making some serious updates to the device's camera element. According to Geek, the motion-tracking chip will be a major camera update. Apple may also be including a 120fps slow-motion mode.

But the camera upgrades continue, the iPhone 5S is expected to be released with a 12-megapixel-camera sensor with a dual LED flash system to boost the device's capabilities in low-light situations. In addition, the latest leak of iPhone 5S photos shows that the smartphone may in fact ship without the ribbon attached LED flash that was featured in the iPhone predecessors. iDigitalTimes reported that Apple will be including upgraded dual LED flash into the iPhone 5S as a standalone component. With the inclusion of motion tracking, and a dual LED flash system, the iPhone 5S now stands as an even better digital camera replacement.

The iPhone 5S is expected to be unveiled at a media event on September 10.
