Jenni Rivera never saw her dream of having her own talk show come true. But the late Mexican singer might just have passed it on to her daughter.
Janney "Chiquis" Rivera revealed her own ambitions of hosting her show, similar to Cristina Saralegui. "Something like Cristina's, or even Don Francisco, but entirely my own."
Jenni's oldest daughter has also expressed intentions of writing a book and improve her Spanish, but all of those plans will have to wait. Chiquis is currently focused on taking care of her younger siblings and honoring the memory of her mother. She revealed to La Opinion that she would have never become the woman she is if it wasn't for Jenni. "She taught me to never feel sorry for myself, but to just pick myself up and keep working," she said.
Chiquis opened up recently about her decision to continue the show "I Love Jenni" after her mother's tragic passing in a plane crush last December. "It was a hard decision to make," she said, talking about her and her sister Jacqi. "But it was something we knew we had to do. We started it and we need to finish it," she said.
"That is something our mom taught us, to never quit," she added.
