Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, recently, made headlines when the Duchess of Sussex finally opened up her struggle in dealing with criticisms when she was still pregnant with Archie. However, the former "Suits" actress, now, found an ally in Kate Middleton, who is determined to help in any way she can to support her sister-in-law.

New Idea reported that Kate is rallying everyone to support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid the reports that the Cambridges and Sussexes are on great terms. “Behind the scenes, I’m told Kate is doing her best to bring everyone together and help Meghan,” Phil Dampier, a veteran royal watcher and author of “Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words,” claimed.

In addition, Kate, reportedly, contacted Meghan long distance to talk to her and offer her support. “I’m told she has reached out to Meghan and spoken to her on the phone,” Dampier explained. “Kate feels sorry for her and knows that Meghan is struggling.”

The Duchess of Cambridge told Meghan Markle about some of her bad experiences with the press when she was still dating Prince William. “Catherine has told Meghan that every royal – including herself – goes through a bad patch with the press but the important thing is to learn by mistakes, move on and get through it,” Dampier added.

In an ITV documentary that aired last week, Meghan Markle revealed that life as Prince Harry’s wife and member of the royal family has been tough. One of the biggest struggles the royal couple had to face was the constant attention they are getting from the tabloid press, according to ITV News.

Meghan revealed how some of her friends tried to dissuade her from marrying Harry. “When I first met my now-husband, my friends were really happy because I was so happy. But my British friends said to me, ‘I’m sure he’s great but you shouldn’t do it because the British will destroy your life,’” the Duchess of Sussex said.

However, she admitted she didn’t get the warning because there’s no such thing in the U.S. “And I, very naively, am American – we don’t have that there- ‘What are you talking about? This doesn’t make any sense, I’m not in tabloids.’ I didn’t get it,” she explained.

For Prince Harry, it’s all about protecting his family. “I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces,” Harry’s statement in their lawsuit against The Mail on Sunday read, per Bustle.

“I will not be bullied into playing a game that has killed my mom,” he also said in the ITV documentary. To recall, Princess Diana died in a Paris crash after she tried to escape a paparazzi that hounded her.
