‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Episode 4 ‘Papa, Can You Hear Me?’ Spoilers: Scott Pranks Kris And Bruce Addresses Hearing Loss [RECAP]

Episode 4 of "Keeping up with the Kardashian" premiered last night, and the episode consisted of the usual mix of Kardashian jokes, although this episode differed slightly due to its more serious undertones. The Kardashian family faced Bruce's hearing loss due to his aging, Scott Disick also faced his fears and meet with one of his fans, who happens to be terminally ill with cancer.

Apparently Bruce Jenner can't hear and the whole family knows it, except Bruce! The Kardashian clan seems to constantly poke fun at Bruce's inability to hear, however Kris is fed-up with Bruce's loss of hearing and his refusal to acknowledge the problem. After stubbornly refusing to visit the doctor, Bruce is finally convinced by his son Brandon. Bruce attends the doctor and discovers he has lost the hearing in his right ear, he decides to get a hearing aid.

The most comical part of episode 4 was when Scott prank calls Kris. He "Disguises" his voice, but really it just sounds the same, he just laughs more, and Kris's nephew named Todd Cranes. The phone calls are quite comical and are described by Scott a "bonding experience" between him Kourtney, Khloe and himself. Kris brings up the incident with the family, and they are all in on the joke, therefore they laugh it off. Scott continues to prank Kris by sending flowers and champagne in Todd Cranes's name. It is unclear if Kris ever found out that Scott was making the prank calls.

The more serious aspects of the episode was when Kourtney and reveals that CiCi, her second cousin has cancer. Every time Kourtney talks about CiCi with Scott he gets quite comfortable and doesn't know exactly how to behave. At one point during the show, Scott, Kourtney and Khloe go wig-shopping for CiCi and in the beginning the joking trio is having a good time but when they bring up CiCi's serious illness, Scott's mood changes and he starts to feel uncomfortable.

Realizing his fear of death and facing serious illness after a sweet heart-to-heart with Kourtney, Scott decides to meet a women whose wish is to meet him before she dies. The devoted fan, Josie, is terminally ill with cancer and only has about a year left to live. Kourtney thinks that Scott should surprise Josie with a visit to her home, he goes and meets her and gives gifts the vibrant women a Rolex watch from his personal collection. Scott, says meeting Josie was a "life-changing experience" and he now wants to spend more time with CiCi.
