Kendall Jenner was spotted wearing a rather unusual dress as she walked out of a hotel in New York. The model is there in the city to be a part of the Fashion Week as a member of the audience for a change.

New York was busy with models and designers descending with their experimental fashion styles. Jenner too got into the fun and was spotted wearing a body-hugging dress.

Photos of Jenner walking out of a hotel in Manhattan have surfaced online, and they show her dressed in a bodysuit that seems more like cycling shorts and body-con combined. A picture of the model posted on Vogue show her in a simple black mini dress. She finished the look with a pair of black, Alexander Wang sandals and a matching handbag.

Jenner’s outfit is being compared to the ones Jane Fonda wore in the 1980s workout videos. The dress may have been influenced by her sister Kim Kardashian’s shape wear line that can be worn underneath a garment.

The dress that Jenner wore appears to have the obvious advantage of being comfortable to wear, but it also has other benefits. The dress, for instance, can protect a celebrity from wardrobe malfunction, especially during Fashion Week in New York when the paparazzi will be active throughout the city. The dress is also elegant for wearing something on top of it, like a long overcoat.

Jenner was in New York for the Fashion Week, but she did not walk the ramp at any of the events there. In a previous interview with Vogue, the model said that “ It’s a lot more mellow to just go” rather than catwalk on the stage.

Although Jenner may welcome to be on the other side of things in a Fashion Week, instead of being involved with all the hectic work backstage, she said that she did miss being involved when she saw the other models work while she sat with the audience. She will be going to Milan soon, but she is yet to decide if she will remain just an audience.
