Khloe Kardashian recently revealed how she managed to go back to her pre-baby figure just a year after giving birth to her daughter, True. The reality TV star said that she ballooned to 203 pounds after True was born.

While speaking with People, the 35-year-old said that she thought she could immediately go back to her pre-baby weight after giving birth. But to her surprise, it took her quite some time to shed off some pounds.

After getting clearance from her doctor, Khloe Kardashian hit the gym and started working out. She said that she was mentally ready to get rid of her post-baby weight but her body wasn’t prepared. The daughter of Kris Jenner found herself feeling out of breath whenever she would exert effort at the gym.

But instead of beating herself up, Kardashian decided to take on her weight loss journey very slowly. “I did it day by day,” she said. “If I could get through that workout, I did. But you’re not going to get it back in a day,” she added.

One of Kardashian’s proudest moments was when she attended her sister Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday. She wore a cropped top and high-waisted pants to the bash.

“I wasn’t at my thinnest at all, but I was so proud for getting to where I was at that time,” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m going to show this off!’”

Kardashian also said that one of the things she learned was how important it is to be kind to oneself. She also reminded herself that it took her 9 months to gain her weight, so she should give herself at least a year to shed it off.

“You have to adjust, she said. “And you’re juggling with a baby and your life and trying to do those moments that are about you. You have to be kind and learn to balance it all.”

Kardashian’s daughter is now 14 months old. True lives with her in Los Angeles, but she also gets to spend time with her dad, Tristan Thompson. The couple broke things off after the athlete cheated on her twice.
