"Kingdom Hearts 3" news has been extremely scarce lately, so rumors of the game have hit the web hardcore. The most recent rumor says the forthcoming title by Square Enix will be adding a stage from the "Kingdom Hearts" mobile and web title "Kingdom Hearts χ," according to Realty Today.

In a YouTube video on the making of "Kingdom Hearts 3" for a D23 event, The Gamers Joint discussed the possibility of adding the Daybreak Town stage to the title. In the clip developer Square Enix reportedly took in a 3D version of Daybreak Town and Gaming Bolt says the only reason for this move is to include it into "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Daybreak Town is a world that appears in "Kingdom Hearts χ" and serves as the hub for the player. The town is similar in appearance to Radiant Garden and Traverse Town.

If you are unaware, "Kingdom Hearts χ" is a prequel to the entire "Kingdom Hearts" series as a whole, which takes place before the Keyblade War. Players assume the role of a Keyblade wielder who joins one of five factions led by Keyblade Masters fighting for control of the limited Light existing in the world. The game's plot is connected to "Kingdom Hearts III."

Meanwhile, during a recent Q&A forum Square Enix revealed a few details regarding the new gameplay mechanics of the title. According to Pixel Dynamo the lead game designer Yuji Kenichiro reportedly said players can now cripple large monsters in-game by targeting vulnerable body parts.

Furthermore, a list of new titles that will be available for pre-order on Amazon.com has been leaked and "Kingdom Hearts 3" is one of them. The list labels the title at $59.99 and hints that the game will launch sometime in 2016, reports The Venture Capital Post.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is still in development and is expected to launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC late 2016 early 2017.
