Kylie Jenner and Sofia Richie’s close bond is sweet for many, but big sister Kourtney Kardashian is said to be the one who is most thrilled by it. Maybe this acceptance has everything to do with the Jordyn Woods fiasco, as the two reportedly got closer after the whole thing blew up.
The “Kylie Skin” founder and the 20-year-old model have been inseparable in the past months, forming an “irreplaceable bond.” While all friendships are nice to admire, theirs has been truly interesting because it’s quite new and yet already very strong.
Kylie Jenner is known to be closest to Woods in the past, but because the latter broke her trust by becoming intimately close to sister Khloe Kardashian’s ex-partner, Tristan Thompson, their friendship fell apart. Sofia Richie is said to be the one that helped Jenner through the hard time.
A source told E! News that Jenner and Richie became super close after the scandal because the latter “really helped Kylie through the emotional roller coaster during the Jordyn situation.”
The portal's source revealed that Richie was there for Jenner through it all, so they inevitably became closer. They became so close that the mogul and reality star trusts Richie to be around her daughter, Stormi Webster.
"Kylie also trusts Sofia around Stormi, which is very important to her. Sofia has been around since Stormi was born and Kylie feels comfortable with having her around her child after getting to know her better," the source noted.
"They have now formed an irreplaceable bond."
Richie has become Jenner’s go-to-girl for all sorts of activities -- from staying in and hanging out with Stormi to going out of town and having a fun time. Case in point, Richie was front and center during Jenner's trip to Turks and Caicos with her closest friends, and it was apparent that they adore each other.
Interestingly, Kourtney supports their closeness, which others might find weird because Richie is dating her ex-, Scott Disick. One source claimed that Richie was not always welcome to the family and that it took time for her to be accepted. However, things have changed now.
Not only is Richie welcome to the controversial family’s fold, but Kourtney also loves the bond between Jenner and Richie because she bore witness to how her sister healed from the Jordyn fiasco through Richie’s support.
"Kourtney is thrilled that Kylie has found a bond with Sofia," the source revealed.
“She has seen firsthand how much of a support system Sofia has been for Kylie, and it makes Kourtney feel even better about her dynamic with Sofia as well. There is no more awkwardness or tension like there was a year ago.”
Richie and Disick are also reportedly in a very stable, secure relationship right now. Two years dating as of the moment, the two are reportedly happy with their relationship and are not thinking of wedding plans yet.
The daughter of Lionel Richie is said not to be that angsty for marriage anyway, so she’s very happy with the way things are, as reported by Hollywood Life. A lot of that also has to do with just how welcome she is already to the Kardashians’ family and being part of the inner circle.
“Right now Sofia’s feeling especially good about where she and Scott are at because the Kardashians have been embracing her more and more," another source explained.
