After winning her first Oscar for her romantic performance in “A Star Is Born,” Lady Gaga is preparing for a new experiment in her acting career. The singer turned actress is all set to work on a horror film.

Sources close to Gaga told US Weekly that the singer wants to continue to act, and she was recently offered a role. The film that she is considering is a remake of “Little Shop of Horrors.”

There hasn’t been any official announcement about the film yet, and there are no details about the character Gaga plans to play. It is expected that she will play Audrey.

Audrey works as an assistant to the protagonist Seymour. The plot of the film revolves around the florist Seymour looking for success in business and romance by feeding a man-eating plant in his shop.

Gaga already has some experience working in the horror genre. She previously played the recurring role of a character called The Countess in “American Horror Story” TV series. Some of her other acting roles include “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For,” and a minor role on the popular TV series “The Sopranos.”

Although she hasn’t been seen on screen this year, Gaga has said in past interviews that she is keen on continuing to act. The singer said that she loves acting, and is appreciative of the experiences she has had in the industry so far.

Apart from the singing and the acting, Gaga is also keeping herself busy with her business ventures. Recently, she hosted a party to celebrate the launch of her new beauty brand Haus Laboratories, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Gaga invited 500 friends and influencers to the celebration that was called “Haus Party.” The singer was not only the host but also the DJ at the event. She spoke about the importance of makeup and launched products like lip liners, stickers, eyeliners, and eyeshadows.
