Angelique Boyer To Star As Triplets
The "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" star might be returning to telenovelas soon in a role of a lifetime. Televisa

Angelique Boyer has been away from telenovelas since the finale of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" and we miss her. The 26-year-old French-born actress seems to already be ready to make her return to the small screen in an iconic role. Boyer has been both a villain and the sweet protagonist in melodramas throughout her career. Her best role has been "Teresa," that vicious woman that would stop at nothing to climb the social ladder. In the end we see that she actually has a heart and repents for being such a horrible person. Angelique was able to play both sides of Teresa like not many actresses can that is why she is being considered for a remake of "Lazos de Amor."

"Lazos De Amor" was a telenovela that starred Lucero and was produced by Carla Estrada who has given us classics like "Te Sigo Amando," "El Privilegio De Amar" and "Amor Real." There are two producers at Televisa that want to produce this remake and bring it back to audiences. Angelli Nesma and Salvador Mejía are vying for the ambitious project and want to take a stab of their own at having an actress play triplets. The story was about triplets that have an accident as babies. One of them is separated from the other two and grows up in poverty and without knowing she has two other sisters. The two other girls grow up with all the commodities in life and different personalities. One of them looses her vision due to the accident and the other one just hates life and is mean and cutthroat.

Boyer will totally master all of these three roles if given the opportunity to shine. According to Juan José Origel, the other actress that is being considered is Michelle Renaud, who we can currently see on "La Sombra Del Pasado." Renaud has also played roles that show her range throughout her career. Coincidentally both Boyer and Renaud were discovered on "Rebelde" where they both had minor roles. Both Nesma and Mejía are working on other projects at the moment with "Que Te Perdone Dios" and "Lo Imperdonable," respectively. What is for sure is that this project wouldn't see the light until sometime in 2016 after both of the producers' current projects end. It's still up in the air as to who will play the lead role, but our bets are on Angelique Boyer. Do you think a "Lazos De Amor" remake is a good idea?
