Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon, 16, appears to be following in her mother's experimental footsteps, stepping out in NYC. over the weekend with a new emerald-tinted hairdo, People magazine reports.
Madonna's daughter Lourdes, despite the new brightly colored green hair, was dressed in the normal teenage garb sporting a graphic tee and high-waist jeans.
This isn't the first time the "Material Girl" daughter has experimented with her hair. Last February, Lourdes shaved the right side of her head for an edgier style.
Could this be a new edgy hair style or is Lourdes acting out of rebellion?
Lourdes recently began dating Showtime's "Homeland" actor Timothee Chalamet earlier this month and that the new couple met while they were both students at La Guardia High School of Music & Art & Performing Arts in NYC.
As previously reported, Madonna's daughter voiced her opinions about her overly strict father's dating rules claiming that she wants him to butt out, and that she is old enough to make her own decisions.
Madonna on the other hand appears to be okay with letting her children be whoever it is they are, but the superstar singer has admitted that she could be a little bit tougher.
"To be a single mother of four and to work as much as I do, and live my life in a kind of metaphorical fish bowl, it's pretty challenging," she told the "Today" show last year. "But so far I've survived with sanity and humor intact."
She said that the Madonna her children know is the one who asks "Have you done your homework?" and "Why are you wearing that?" But, she added, "I'm probably not as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher."
