Colombian artist Maluma will make his debut as a host on the most important stage in Latin music: the Latin Grammy Awards. The Latin Recording Academy announced today that the urban music star and Puerto Rican actress and filmmaker Roselyn Sánchez will present the 26th edition of the awards, which will be held on Thursday, November 13, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Maluma is no stranger to the gala, having accumulated twenty nominations in his career within the Latin GRAMMYs and winning the award for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for his third album FAME in 2018.
However, he's never hosted a show before and started in the big leagues. Fortunately for him, he's working with the most experienced host of the gala. Roselyn Sánchez is returning for her eighth time, having previously hosted the 16th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, and 24th Latin GRAMMY Awards.

Some of the featured nominees
The list of nominations for the 2025 Latin Grammys is headed by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny with 12 mentions, in another achievement for his successful career and crowning a year in which he became the most listened-to artist in the world on streaming platforms.
It will also be a prelude to her controversial performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, the American football final, which will take place in San Francisco in February.
They are followed by the Argentinian duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and the producer and composer Édgar Barrera, both with 10 nominations each. Other nominees include Gloria Estefan, Alejandro Sanz, Natalia Lafourcade, Carín León, and Liniker.
The Academy had already announced performances at the gala by Rauw Alejandro, Edgar Barrera, Joaquina, Christian Nodal, Nathy Peluso, Elena Rose, Alejandro Sanz, and Adelaido "Payo" Solís III (Grupo Frontera). Also performing will be Latin GRAMMY® winners Grupo Frontera, eight-time GRAMMY® winner Kacey Musgraves, and three-time Latin GRAMMY winner Carlos Santana.
The nominations cover more than 60 categories, and include for the first time the fields of "Best Music for Visual Media" and "Best Roots Song".
The gala promises to bring together figures from diverse generations and varied styles, in what is shaping up to be another key night for Latin music.
The event will be broadcast live on TelevisaUnivision in the United States starting at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and 7:00 p.m. (CT), following an hour-long pre-show that will begin at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) / 6:00 p.m. (CT).
