A 29-year-old man in Florida has been charged with misusing 911 after he allegedly made a series of calls asking police dispatchers to arrest U.S. President Joe Biden. Jacob Philbeck was arrested on May 8 by law enforcement officers when he placed calls to the Pinellas County 911 system and informed them that the U.S. president should be jailed while convicted drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman should be set free.

According to The Smoking Gun, Philbeck made three pre-dawn calls from his apartment in a Tampa suburb, somewhere in Palm Harbor. Despite being given a warning for his misuse of the 911 system, Philbeck persisted as his call recipients informed him that he was providing them with non-emergency information. But this did not deter him either.

Deputies arrived at his residence and caught him in the midst of a 911 call which was disrupted by his arrest. He was booked into the county jail without any incident from which he was released on May 10 on a $150 bond. Reports from arresting officers stated that Philbeck was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his arrest.

Being a registered Republican, he supported flying the Republican flag, Reportedly, Philbeck also opposed gun control based on his Facebook posts while claiming that he was very conservative and stands even far more right than most Republicans.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a Florida man confessed to killing his father’s dog by burying the animal alive because it was “old and thought it was dying.” In an affidavit filed by 33-year-old Tyler Crevasse on May 9, the suspect said he had wrapped the 18-year-old poodle in a wet towel and buried it in the backyard of the home he shares with his 61-year-old father.

His father learned of what had become of his pet and confronted Crevasse. The man responded to his father’s inquiry by punching him in the nose twice. Police reports said the father and son got into a heated argument.

To the bewilderment of cops, the defendant kept laughing while he recounted his actions. They found the dog’s body in the area where Crevasse confessed to burying the animal.
