A man from Atlanta, Georgia has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for having sex with minors, producing child pornography, and attempting to extort and exploit them online.

Myles Frazier, a 29-year-old man, has been accused of being an extortionist who coerced at least nine minors to have sex with him and film sexually explicit images and videos of them doing lewd acts together, a U.S. Attorney’s Office press release said.

Frazier’s modus operandi for at least three of his victims was to pose as a woman named “Liv” and pressure the victim to have paid sex with Frazier and engage in sexual activities with him, the Northside Neighbor reported.

Those three victims, who all went to the same school together, were then threatened by Frazier to keep silent by blackmailing them with exposure to their family, friends, and schoolmates. One victim was reportedly threatened by Frazier to stay silent in exchange for not exposing the minor who had an academic scholarship to lose.

Frazier allegedly also had six other victims from out of state whom he coerced to send him sexually explicit photos and videos, which he paid for. When they stopped sending him videos and photos, Frazier attempted to extort more by threatening to expose them to others.

“Frazier coerced numerous teenage boys online to engage in sex acts and send him photos and videos of that activity. He then threatened to expose the boys to their families and classmates when they refused to comply with his demands,” Acting U.S. Attorney Kurt Erskine said.

“This defendant is the online sexual predator that so many parents fear. His 24-year sentence is a critical step in achieving a measure of justice for the victims and their families,” Erskine said.

Chris Hacker, FBI Special agent, hopes that Frazier’s sentence will send a strong message to others about the government’s commitment against sextortion.

“Frazier will spend the next 24-years of his life in prison, which should send a strong message to anyone who even contemplates harming and extorting a vulnerable youth,” Hacker said. “The FBI takes sextortion very seriously.”

Frazier pleaded guilty to the charges on Feb. 12, 2021.
