With the release of “The Mandalorian,” there has been a lot o excitement among the fans. However, the creator of “Star Wars” George Lucas may not be happy about the twist that was featured in the premiere episode.

The following article contains spoilers from the premiere episode of “The Mandalorian.”

In the first episode, Pedro Pascal’s character was given a target with a promise of a huge sum, and an understanding that the bounty hunter will be paid even if he brings a dead body. Towards the end of the episode, it was revealed that the target is a baby belonging to the Yoda species.

Yoda has been a big character in the “Star Wars” universe, and he has appeared in all three trilogies. However, Lucas has always been reluctant to explore this species a little more, Screen Rant reported.

So far, apart from Yoda the only other character of the same species was Yaddle, suggesting that they belong to a dying race. The species doesn’t even have a name yet, and “The Mandalorian” is set to change all that.

Will Lucas be happy about Disney exploring a species that he didn’t want to explore himself? The “Star Wars” creator has signed a contract with the company that stops him from making any negative comments about the franchise, so the fans may not find out what he really thinks about the new show.

However, Making Star Wars previously revealed that Lucas not only approved of the Yoda species idea, but also contributed to it. The mythology of the alien species may be revealed in the sixth episode, and this may also be the episode where the species will get its name.

The next episode of “The Mandalorian” will be released on Nov. 15 on Disney+. The plot of the episode will be about the bounty hunter dealing with scavengers while taking his target back.
