Before celebrity Chef Aarón Sánchez takes on the “MasterChef” kitchen to be a guest judge, he first had to take his very own “quick fire challenge” as Chef Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi grilled him with questions. Sánchez had to answer things like best gift he ever received and if he preferred salty or sweet, but things got harder when he had to choose even between his Food Network show “Chopped” and the FOX show “MasterChef”!

This season of “MasterChef” has already proven to be full of surprises and difficult challenges. If nothing else, the participants have one thing in common: they want to become this year’s best “MasterChef” home cook. This will be no easy challenge given that many renowned chefs have been invited as guest judges. The first is one of the country’s leading Latin contemporary chefs, Sánchez, who will appear in three episodes on June 29, July 6 and July 13.

During the episode on June 29, viewers will be able to enjoy one of the most difficult and tense moments you have ever seen on the show as the contestants are judged by Chef Ramsey and Tosi, in addition to guest judges Claudia Sandoval and Sánchez.

Each contestant will have 60 minutes to create his or her own unique dish using a number of Sandoval’s favorite ingredients. The winner of the challenge will not only be safe from the next elimination round, but will also help in deciding the fate of three other contestants in the next elimination.

Also, find out who is saved and who survives elimination in the all-new “Top 17 Compete” episode of “MasterChef” airing Wednesday, June 29 (8 p.m. ET) on FOX.
