Meghan Markle And Prince Harry In Financial Trouble With $6M Debt

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced their departure as senior members of the royal family in January. They moved to Canada and currently living in a mansion there but it was reported that the couple is only renting it for now.

With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s exit, they also said that they will be giving up their public funding and they will not be receiving anything from the royal family as well. The couple said that they are planning to work and earn money for themselves but it was not mentioned how.

“We will work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen,” part of the Sussexes official statement reads. “It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.”

Now, just a month after the shocking “Megxit,” it was rumored that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now having financial issues. Since they do not have work as of now, In Touch Weekly reported that they have accumulated a total of $6 million in debt so they are desperate for cash as of the moment.

“Since leaving Britain, Harry and Meghan are hemorrhaging money and struggling to make ends meet,” the so-called source told the magazine. “They’re about $6 million in the hole.”

It was alleged that the main reason for the debt was the increased security around their rented home on an island in Vancouver, Canada. The insider shared that it is costing the couple big money plus they also have to pay their rent that was said to cost around $14 million so their “living independently” is actually not cheap.
