Meghan Markle stepped out for her first public engagement in London after giving birth to Archie. The Duchess of Sussex launched a clothing line for working women to raise money for the Smart Works charity.

The clothing line has been designed by Misha Nonoo, and Markle was spotted wearing one of the capsule collection when she arrived at the launch, People reported. The Duchess of Sussex wore a plain white button-down shirt that was designed by Nonoo and a pair of black tapered pants from Jigsaw.

There are a total of five items that have been launched in the new clothing line, and Markle has bought all five of them to support the charity initiative. She is expected to wear these clothes when she travels with Prince Harry and her son to Africa.

The collection was launched at the John Lewis store on Oxford Street in London. The main theme of the clothing line is to offer women professional attire at affordable prices.

Smart Works charity is involved in helping women find jobs by giving them training for interviews and helping them look job ready with professional clothing. Markle said at the launch event that she has been involved with the charity early on since her arrival in the U.K.

Markle gave a brief speech, which was followed by a panel discussion that the royal listened to. In her speech, she talked about how it was important for her personally to “connect with people on the ground” after arriving in the country.

The prince range of the collection Markle has launched is between $24 and $245, Los Angeles Times reported. They are available from European size 6 to size 24. The collection will be available for purchase for two weeks, starting from Thursday, and the retailers are stocking the pieces from the collection based on their needs.
