Melissa Joan Hart is Nurtisystem's latest celebrity spokesperson. "Entertainment Tonight" reported Hart welcomed her third child last September and has already shed 20 lbs with the help of Nutrisystem.
"We are thrilled to be helping and working with Melissa. She mirrors our values and will resonate with our customers as authentic," a rep for Nutrisystem said in a statement, adding that their customers will connect someone like Hart, "who is relatable."
In an interview with OK! Magazine in November, Hart revealed the pressure to lose baby weight. "I feel the pressure from myself, not from anyone else," she told the magazine. "I do know that the quicker I lose the weight, the more work will come. It's two-fold. There is that pressure, but I'm using it as good. I'm using that as motivation to keep my diet in check, and make sure I get on that spin bike one extra day."
The 36-year-old is a good pick for the Nutrisystem brand by providing a celebrity that has fluctuated and struggled with their weight post pregnancies. While she is no longer "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," Hart may resemble her old self with her new slim figure.
