A Mexican drug kingpin and his notorious Instagram model girlfriend were arrested recently during a targeted police sting operation. Fernando Antonio Lince Velazquez, also known as “El Chato” and his busty girlfriend Ivone Macedo Barron were apprehended for allegedly distributing drugs that are being sold around Mexico’s bars and nightclubs.

According to The World News, law enforcement authorities were able to seize around 42 bags of cocaine, 106 bags of marijuana along with a grey car containing a large stash of money.

The 28-year-old kingpin is allegedly at the helm of the Union Tepito criminal cartel which basically runs the entire city of Mexico. His network of gang members has been blamed for a lot of unaccounted murders in the country as it mirrors its rivals in hanging dismembered bodies on road bridges to send out warning messages to rival gangs dipping into their territory.

Police also took 32-year-old Barron into custody and while processing her arrest, the saucy influencer managed to include a nip-slip in her mug shot. The sneaky move caused a massive stir on social media as the naughty image went viral.

Barron is one of Mexico’s infamous “Union Brides” joined by the wives and girlfriends of other cartel members who have a penchant for flaunting their looted wealth as well as their lingerie-clad bodies for many to ogle and admire. These women have been typified in their lifestyle as “buchonas”. Generally, they exude a certain look and style which would usually involve voluptuous surgically-enhanced bodies and facial features, heavy make-up, straight long hair, and tight next-to-nothing clothing.

In a country ravaged by drug wars, these women have been the cause of much controversy as these narco influencers continue to rake in thousands of followers who seem to glorify their crimes by admiring the lavish lifestyles they live.

Sitting high on the rank of these “buchonas” is Emma Coronel Aispuro, wife of Sinaloa cartel leader Joaquine “El Chapo” Guzman. Aispuro is currently serving a three-year prison term for several related drug offenses.

Also ranking high on this list is Claudia Ochoa Felix who died of a drug overdose in 2019. She had amassed hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers despite being linked to a Sinaloa cartel assassination squad.
