A new batch of fighters will be joining “Mortal Kombat 11” soon. After an announcement at Gamescom 2019, a trailer of the new DLC fighters has been released online.

The leaks have been confirmed. According to the trailer that was released online on the official Twitter page of the game, the new DLC fighters are Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Joker, Spawn, and Terminator T-800.

Movie buffs will appreciate the look of some of the new fighters. Shang Tsung looks like Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who played the villainous role in the 1995 movie from the franchise. The Terminator is straight from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s portrayal of the character in the films.

While the trailer confirmed the introduction of these new fighters, the dialogues and fighting mechanics of the characters were not revealed. The video did, however, tease some of the weapons of these fighters.

Previous leaks about the game had revealed the pre-fight dialogues of these fighters. It remains to be seen if these leaks turn out to be right. A gameplay trailer of these characters should give the fans an idea about how the new DLC fighters sound like in “Mortal Kombat 11.”

Of the fighters mentioned, Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are already available for play. The main villain Shao Khan, who was previously added as a pre-order bonus, is also available as of this writing.

The release date of the other fighters was announced in another tweet. The first fighter the players will get on October 8 is the Terminator T-800. Sindel comes a month later on November 26. The Joker will be available on January 28, and Spawn is the last to arrive on March 17, 2020.

More fighters for “Mortal Kombat 11” are expected to be announced in the coming months. It remains to be seen what new guest fighters from other franchises will be introduced.
