Just a couple of weeks after Clarissa Molina was crowned the new "Nuestra Belleza Latina," former contestant Nathalia Casco voiced her thoughts on the beauty queen's big win.

"I think if was something that everyone knew from the beginning," the Honduran pageant contestant told People en Español. "That's what I mean by favoritism [in the show]. They make things easier for certain contestants and make them harder for others," she added.

Casco, who said she prepared for the reality show and put all her efforts in it, finds the action unfair for the other girls in the competition.

Although Casco, one of the most controversial girls in "NBL VIP," does not agree with how things were handled in the show, she expressed her happiness for the Dominican beauty queen. "Clarissa looks like a queen. I don't think she has the fault in all of this. I wish Clarissa enjoys it," Casco said. "I believe that she's been very persistent and she made it. That's the most important thing," she told People en Español.

Casco was first runner-up in "Nuestra Belleza Latina" 2015. Francisca Lachapel nabbed the crown that year and Molina, also in the competition, was in 4th place.

Both girls returned for the coveted title in the special VIP edition; however, Casco called it quits in mid-season. According to another interview with People en Español, she abruptly left the show to spend time with her daughter.

“I hadn’t slept since the night before and I got home until 12 AM to see my daughter [Daniela]. When she opened her eyes the first thing she saw was me and she got really happy. Now I was able to take her to school,” Casco explained, adding that the competition and exhaustion were factors that also played in.

Casco insisted that her decision had nothing to do with publicity as she really wanted to get that crown for the audience that has supported her.
