The Nexus 5 release date is one of the most anticipated events in this year's smart-phone calendar. With the release of Google's flagship smartphone iminent, anticipation and rumor are rife. However, as The Verge reports, it now seems we have an idea of what the phone will look like as well as a release date! The constant eaker Evleaks published a photo of the upcoming phone: the image is identical to the one published earlier by Google, with one important difference: this image shows the phone with a white back. This suggests, therefore, that Google may be releasing the black and white versions of its Android device simultaneously this year.

The Nexus 5 release is also coming sooner than you might think. Evleaks has insinuated that the phone will be released on Nov. 1. The original post below the photo reads "In white, 11/1." Whether this is referring to the phone's unveiling or when it will actually be available is still unclear. But in light of recent product page leaks, it would seem that an early November release would make a lot of sense. The latest information suggests the device will come with a 4.95-inch 1080p display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU and LTE available in both 16 and 32GB models.
