In the coming “One Piece” Chapter 954, Zoro will have to make a very important decision that will ultimately have a great bearing on his future fighting ability. In the coming installment of Eiichiro Oda’s hit manga series, the Straw Hats Pirate will have to choose between Enma or Shusui, two of the most powerful swords in the story.

In Chapter 952, Zoro was fighting over Shusui with the person who called himself “Gyukimaru.” It later turned out that the name was actually Kawamatsu’s alias and that the one that Zoro fought was actually Onimaru, the pet of Shimotsuki Ushimaru, who is the previous owner of Shusui.

Hiyori later made an offer to Zoro. He has to give up trying to get his hands on Shusui, and he can have the Meito sword Enma instead.

It’s anybody’s guess just which sword Zoro might end up choosing in the end. However, that’s not stopping fans from making their bets.

Hiyori’s offer is indeed very enticing. After all, the Enma used to be the weapon wielded by Hiyori’s father, Oden. What’s even more interesting is that it was the same sword that Oden used to injure Kaido in the past.

Considering that Kaido is the main antagonist in the current arc, it would make sense for Zoro to give up his claim to Shusui and opt for Enma instead. Some fans are even starting to wonder if Zoro might manage to scar Kaido by using the weapon, just like Oden did. But others propose that the power level difference between Kaido and Zoro is just too great to be overcome by a mere sword.

Meanwhile, there are fans who believe that Zoro might decline Hiyori’s offer and stick to Shusui. As stated by YouTuber BDA Law, it was Shusui who chose Zoro first. “For you to be its master, it would be this katana’s long-cherished ambition,” Ryuma once said.

And Zoro’s acceptance of Shushui was almost like a vow. Thus, it would seem unlikely of him to give up the sword no matter how Hiyori might try to sweeten the offer.

Zoro’s decision is indeed a tricky one, considering that both swords are very powerful. But whatever choice he will eventually make, it will still mean one thing — a more powerful Zoro. Thus, fans can expect the swordsman to play a more important role in subsequent “One Piece” chapters, especially when Luffy eventually faces Kaido head-on.
