Tonight at 9:30 p.m. Pachuca faces Santos Laguna in the Liga MX Semifinals. After beating the odds in the quarterfinals, Pachuca wants to give their first step in to the finals when they receive Santos Laguna. This game will be played at Estadio Hidalgo. Pachuca defeated Pumas UNAM like few thought theu would be able to do, also it could be said that they defeated them with ease. Enner Valencia had an outstanding performance.
To avoid that this elimination be solved away from home, Pachuca must get ahead, they face a dangerous offensive team. The last time these two teams met in playoffs was in the semifinals in 2007. Pachuca actually ended up being the champion of the Clausura that year.
As for Santos Laguna, they did enough to beat América. Their main goal will be to not be so vulnerable when it comes to defense. They just need to attack and not stop just in case they have the lead.
