Luis Coronel is currently touring Mexico but has traveled to Miami to be part of the 2016 Premio Lo Nuestro. The Regional Mexican singer from Arizona is a two-time nominee at the awards show, where he will also be presenting and performing live. For Coronel, this entire experience is a dream come true.

"I am very happy with all of these opportunities," he said to Latin Times about his nominations as Regional Mexican Male Artist of the Year and Regional Mexican Album of the Year. "It's something that I never ever imagined I could achieve. I am more than grateful. Living this experience in Premio Lo Nuestro is unforgettable," he said.

In addition to his two nods, the 20-year-old artist will present the award for Best Pop Group or Duo and will perform his recent U.S. single "Nada Mas Por Eso" ---but with a twist! "I'm going to sing it in a different style than what we usually sing it in... not in banda, it's going to be more pop, acoustic," he said.

Despite his role in the star-studded ceremony, Coronel admits that his favorite part of awards is just being invited. "Just being able to be there and see all the artists that I've watched on TV. Being able to meet Marc Anthony, Prince Royce, Maluma... it's just unbelievable," he said. "I look back at my life and how different it's been for me and I ask myself, 'why? why me?,'" he added. Premio Lo Nuestro airs February 18 on Univision.
