With the presidential election just a few weeks away, polls are coming in on who is projected to be the next POTUS. After seeing the polls, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has taken to social media to claim that the election is being rigged.

According to NBC News, Democratic presidential nominee Hilary Clinton is ahead of Trump by 11 points in the national NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. Trump who of course things it’s a travesty, took to Twitter to allege that the election will be rigged this coming November.

“Polls close, but can you belive I lost large numbers of women voters based on made up events THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Media rigging election,” he tweeted.

The candidate is referencing the recent allegations of him sexually assaulting two women that we recently reported. While he may be disappointed and ready to blame the media, sexual assault is one of the most serious crimes against women and the public never forgets.

“The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing crooked Hillary- but also at many polling places,” he tweeted. “Election is being rigged by the media, in a coordinated effort with the Clinton campaign, by outing stories that never happened into news.”

This accusation comes as a shock due to the fact that Trump walks around with a very invincible and pompous attitude when it comes to the election. This rant comes as no surprise as the candidate has in the past suggested countless conspiracy theories.

Despite his claims on the polls, Trump is showing now signs of backing down from the race. According to Complex, Trump has advised his supporters to “call up law enforcement” and “have sheriffs and the police chiefs and everybody watching.”

Clinton has yet to respond to Trump’s claims but we can imagine that she would simply laugh at the accusations.
