‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 Spoilers: Caleb To Return To Rosewood And Hanna; Tyler Blackburn Set As Series Regular

“Pretty Little Liars” will be returning for a fifth season and so will Caleb Rivers. Fans said so long to “Ravenswood” after ABC Family cancelled the spinoff series, and now it seems like even Caleb has bid adieu, because he is returning to Rosewood and of course his long lost love Hanna Marin! After announcing the cancellation of “Ravenswood” in February fans have been wondering if and when the Liars ultimate tech genius would be returning to the fold, ABC Family released a press release on March 12 confirming that Tyler Blackburn who portrays Caleb Rivers had signed on to return to “Pretty Little Liars” as a series regular in season 5. Now what does that mean for his “Ravenswood” storyline, will the new season ever explain the supernatural secrets that allegedly surrounded Caleb’s past? Or will Caleb’s reappearance simply earn a spot on the laundry list of unanswered “Pretty Little Liars” questions? Most likely the latter, because fans are dying to see some quality “Haleb” connections, and the pair can’t fix their relationship if Caleb is always referencing flashback with Miranda.

The finale of “Ravenswood” concluded with Hanna showing up and demanding the truth from her ex-boyfriend, after being disappointed by his lack of answers she returned to Rosewood and “Pretty Little Liars” without Caleb but fans did realize that she took his heart with her. With any resolution, Hanna then decided it was time to move on with her love life, and decided to give in to Travis, the relationship is still in its early stages, but we sense a potential season 5 love triangle for Hanna. According to the ABC Family press release Caleb will return to town and to Hanna life early in the season as a full-fledged series regular. But knowing Hanna, she will not be too willing to let him back into her heart so easily. He certainly deserves some of the expected backlash, he broke her heart, then fell in love with a ghost, then refused to tell her the truth, so expect to see some pretty vicious Haleb battles. However, before long we know that the pair will be back in each other’s arms, even though Travis is sweet, he is no Caleb, and Hanna will soon discover that.

Also, with the alleged unmasking of “A” in the season 4 finale, “Pretty Little Liars” is most certainly going to need all of its favorite characters back to ensure an exciting plot line for fans. That means that Toby must return from London or wherever he is for season 5. Imagine all the Liars in love and happy with their relationships, that would be quite a season 5 plot twist, but we are assuming that Alison who is also going to be more present in the upcoming seas will certainly have something to say about all of her friends respective partners.
