The music world is mourning yet another iconic and talented human being. Prince Rogers Nelson, better known by the world as Prince, was found dead at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning, various sources confirmed.

When TMZ broke the news, millions of sadden fans refused to believe the then rumor. Unfortunately, what seemed like an ER emergency suddenly developed into the loss of one of the greatest music artists the world has ever seen.

Prince died at 57, from apparent flu complications. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the legendary performer revealed he wasn’t feeling well earlier this month, which resulted in the cancellation of at least one of his concerts in the city.
