Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito spoke on the ones who attacked the overturning of Roe v. Wade, particularly world leaders including Prince Harry.

The 72-year-old gave a speech at a conference on religious liberty in Italy that drew laughter. It was his first since the 1973 abortion rights decision was overturned.

“What really wounded me — what really wounded me — was when the Duke of Sussex addressed the United Nations and seemed to compare the decision whose name may not be spoken with the Russian attack on Ukraine,” Alito said sarcastically during his speech.

“I had the honor this term of writing I think the only Supreme Court decision in the history of that institution that has been lambasted by a whole string of foreign leaders who felt perfectly fine commenting on American law,” he added.

Alito also singled out the case of former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. He pointed out how the former leader paid the price, forced to step down after most showed no confidence in him.

“One of these was former Prime Minister Boris Johnson — but he paid the price,” Alito added.

However, he went on to add more names to his list. That included French president Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The speech of Alito on July 21 was unannounced. It only gained notice after a video was posted online on Thursday by the University of Notre Dame Law School. The bulk of the speech was dedicated to broadly discussing how religious freedom has been challenged throughout history.

The speech of Alito comes roughly a month after the end of a term where the court's majority not only ended a federal right to abortion but also ruled in favor of religious conservatives in two cases, CNN reported.
