Prince Harry dropped a major clue about having another baby with his wife, Meghan Markle, soon. In an interview for the September issue of Vogue Magazine, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he and Meghan are already thinking about giving Archie a sibling.

Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed Baby Archie on May 6. While it has only been roughly three months since then, Prince Harry confessed he would already love to give Archie a baby brother or sister. The Duke of Sussex said fatherhood has changed the way he sees nature, so he wants to make the most of fatherhood by having more children in the future.

In a conversation with famous ethologist Dr. Jane Goodall, Prince Harry talked about the problems faced by the young generations today, as well as climate change. Dr. Goodall described the diminishing of fertile land and the disappearance of many species of creatures from the face of the earth as terrifying events, especially for new parents like Prince Harry and Meghan.

While Prince Harry agreed with Goodall, he said that the way he sees the world has greatly changed since he became a father. He also talked about his hopes to have more children, saying that the opportunity to travel to different places and meet different people has helped change his worldview and has made him want to bring more children into this world.

“I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature,” he said. “I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children,” he added.

Concerned about overpopulation, Dr. Goodall then warned Prince Harry in jest not to have too many babies, to which the Duke replied, “Two, maximum!” According to Prince Harry, he has been more inspired to leave something better behind for the next generation since he became a father.

Since marrying Meghan, Prince Harry has been very careful about protecting the privacy of his family. In fact, he rarely discusses his family plans in public interviews. But with him openly expressing his hopes to have more children, it looks like it won’t be long before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex finally announces baby no. 2.
