A royal aide recently took a swipe at Prince William and Prince Harry, saying the royal brothers should focus more on their royal duties than “baring their souls” in public.

Prince Harry recently took royal fans by surprise when he did an ITV documentary last month detailing his and his wife Meghan Markle’s struggles. Titled “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey,” the documentary featured some shocking revelations from the Duke of Sussex, including his feud with Prince William.

During the interview, Prince Harry did not directly admit that there was a feud, but he said he and Prince William have “good days and bad days” and that whatever happens, they would always be brothers. His statement somewhat confirmed the long-rumored feud between him and the Duke of Cambridge, and it was something that royal followers were not very happy about.

While some admire Prince William and Prince Harry for continuing the positive legacy of Princess Diana, royal biographer Angela Levin revealed that not everyone in the royal household is happy with the princes’ emotional approach to things. Like Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry also have the powerful charisma that makes it easy for them to connect with the general public.

In her 2018 biography “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” Levin revealed how one courtier showed concern about their extreme openness to the public. “Not surprisingly, some courtiers have shown concern about both Harry’s and William’s frankness in newspaper and television interviews, particularly around the twentieth anniversary of their mother’s death in August 2017,” she said.

According to Levin, one courtier had told her that Prince Harry and Prince William’s openness might make it even harder to protect their privacy in the future. “We’ve had a lot of baring of souls recently,” Levin quoted the courtier as saying. “There comes a point when you fell ‘come on—time to crack on with your duties,’” the courtier added.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth is reportedly torn between being a Queen and a grandmother to Prince William and Prince Harry. Following Prince Harry’s interview, she reportedly quietly met Prince William and Prince Harry to urge them to think first of the nation’s needs rather than of their own.
