Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly took the initiative to put an end to their alleged feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled all the way to Frogmore Cottage over Easter to reach out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and make peace with them.

Rumors about the rift among the royal family’s “Fab Four” have been around since Meghan married Prince Harry. Followers of the royal family also took Meghan and Prince Harry’s recent move to Frogmore Cottage as a confirmation that something has been going on between the two royal couples behind closed doors.

Although the alleged rift has yet to be confirmed, royal correspondent Chris Ship revealed earlier this week that Prince William and Kate had offered a “clear-the-air” present to Prince Harry and Meghan last Easter. According to him, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made an Easter visit to Prince Harry and Meghan to pacify the ongoing rift, and Kate was the one who initially prompted Prince William to do so.

“They took with them, we hear, a housewarming present when they went round for a meeting,” Ship revealed. “You could call it a ‘clear-the-air’ meeting in some respects. We don’t know how well it went,” he added. Previously, Ship said in a separate interview that the break between the two couples had become so deep that it had already led to “a complete and utter breakdown of communication.”

Those who were present during the Easter Service noticed how the royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry, avoided each other. Insiders claimed that the two did not even acknowledge each other despite being in the same place during the service. After the service, however, Prince William and Kate offered to visit Meghan at Frogmore Cottage and bond with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Meghan was not present during the Easter Service as she was already on maternity leave at the time.

At Frogmore Cottage, the royal couples talked over tea for around 30 minutes to patch things up with one another. After the meeting, Prince William and Prince Harry and their wives were said to be on speaking terms again.
