Selena Gomez And Zac Efron Are Hanging Out But Not Dating

Zac Efron and Selena Gomez have been caught in the middle of a romance rumor this week, and fans couldn’t help but freak out over a possible new Disney couple. According to a source, however, the female singer is only reconnecting with Efron and does not have any plans of dating anyone at this point in her life.

The romance rumors started when Efron followed Gomez on Instagram earlier this month. Insiders claim that the two have become close ever since and that “there’s definitely an attraction” between them.

Amid this development, reports have it that friends of the two Disney artists are not on board with them dating. Both Efron and Gomez have gone to rehab in the past and are still in the process of re-establishing their lives. According to their friends, both of them have the tendency to go off the rails when they don’t live a “fully focused, hyper-regimented lifestyle” with a team of helpers watching their backs, making their chemistry “a recipe for disaster.”

Although the two have been reportedly talking and hanging out lately, Efron and Gomez have yet to confirm the real score between them. One insider recently claimed that the two are simply enjoying their reconnection and that they are not interested to be in a relationship anytime soon.

It can be recalled that Efron and Gomez first met in 2015 after working together on the film “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” They got along really well on the set of the film but have lost the connection along the way because of their respective issues.

Gomez is currently focusing on her mental health after seeking medical help a few months ago because of her anxiety. She has been reading, exercising and hanging out with friends a lot as she tries to focus on the good things and keep stress at bay.

Prior to her anxiety attack, Gomez made headlines after having an emotional breakdown. Fans speculated that the breakdown had to do with her long-time flame Justin Bieber, who recently married Hailey Baldwin. The artist has also been battling lupus, an auto-immune disease that does not have a known cure yet.
