Selena Gomez is back and we are happier than ever! After slowly getting back into the spotlight with her return at the 2016 American Music Awards, the Mexican-American singer is back on the scene but she is doing things differently this time around. It is being reported that the pop star will make her return to music with a head turning collab!

E! News reports that Mexican singer Paulina Rubio revealed that she's teaming up with Selena Gomez for her upcoming album. The news which has everyone elated is big since Gomez has been spotted in the studio but has yet to release new music.

"My new album will be like one more of the team, as one more to the family. It's going to be a real warrior, and it's going to have a little of all the genres like banda and even pop, plus collaborations from DJ Snake and Selena Gomez. I tried to keep a key element: That the music is danceable" the singer said to Vanidades..

After getting a scare from lupus complications, the singer took a much needed break and checked herself into a Tennessee rehab facility to get back into a better headspace. While being away for a few months, the star focused on what was important for her living her most positive life and who exactly needed to be left behind.

"It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling," Selena answered in Thrive Global's questionnaire. "Now I rarely pick up my phone, and only limited people have access to me."

The star is back and better than ever. With news of the singer joining forces with Rubio, fans are excited to hear her new sound and see how she rises back to the top of the charts.

Fans already went crazy when the singer was spotted in the studio with songwriter Justin Tranter, but now with her getting back to her Latin roots fans are ready for the new Selena.
