“Star Wars: Resistance” is a few weeks from its finale, and Disney is looking to end the show with a bang. According to IMDb, “Star Wars: Episode 9” stars Adam Driver and Domhnall Gleeson are reprising their roles in the highly anticipated two-part finale titled “No Escape.”

Gleeson's General Hux will reportedly be in the first part, while Driver’s Kylo Ren will be in the second half. However, there is no official confirmation yet, though Driver’s involvement in this animated project has been teased since last year.

Either way, it wouldn’t be a surprise that “Star Wars: Resistance” will finally have the main “The Last Jedi” villain in the flesh after teasing his brooding presence in the galaxy. He has earned a certain level of chilling notoriety as the galaxy far, far away’s ruthless slayer of armies, dressed in black and always ready to strike enemies with his laser sword.

It also remains to be seen what the extent of the character’s appearance will be. With a second season already locked for the Disney series, a tease of Kylo Ren in the finale has fans thinking that he might have a greater presence on the show moving forward.

Driver is a pretty busy actor, recently gaining praise for his performance in the Oscar-winning film “BlacKkKlansman,” so fans speculate that it will be a cameo at best. Either way, having him on “Star Wars: Resistance” will definitely take the series to the next step.

The character of General Hux, on the other hand, has appeared in “Star Wars: Resistance” already, although only through the reuse of his speech to the First Order army from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The rumor suggests that Gleeson’s involvement will give the character some new speaking lines. At the moment, however, it is all speculation.

This won’t be the first time actors reprised their film roles in the small screen. Mark Hamill himself lent his voice to his legendary character Luke Skywalker in the “Forces Of Destiny,” short called “The Path Ahead,” which treated fans with more of his training with Yoda in Dagobah.

Apart from the speculated appearance of Gleeson and Driver, “Star Wars: Resistance” may be bringing back another massive new trilogy character. StarWars.com author Bryan Young teased that Supreme Leader Snoke may be appearing in this week’s episode, “Descent.” The specific mention of the towering baddie had fans elated.

However, he was quick to clarify that “my use of Holy Snokes has nothing to do with the episode” and that it is his own “default exclamation,” which suggests that the surprise might not have to do with the character after all. This makes sense upon examining the point at which the story “Star Wars: Resistance” is currently in.

From the looks of it, however, viewers will be in for a treat. Disney teases that this week's ‘Star Wars: Resistance’ episode airing March 3 will see “Kaz and Torra investigate the disappearance of a friend and plan to free them from the First Order.”
