Dozens of prominent figures, including Pedro Pascal and Madonna, have signed an open letter urging the federal government to shut down the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in Texas, citing concerns over the treatment of minors detained there with their families.

A DHS spokesperson said ICE detained the parents because they were in the country illegally and said they "chose to bring their adult son and two children with them"

A recent investigation by NBC News obtained 911 call logs placed by staff at Dilley, adding to concerns about what detainees have experienced inside the center.
