Trump ally and political adviser Roger Stone defended FBI Director Kash Patel on Sunday, claiming he is telling the truth about the Epstein Files.
"When Kash Patel, our FBI Director, tells us there are no Epstein records — even though we saw with our own eyes that DVDs and hard drives were seized from Epstein's properties — he's telling us the truth," Stone told the audience at Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit on Sunday.
"Because I believe that evidence was destroyed by Christopher Wray and the Biden Justice Department," Stone explained.
Stone told the crowd that Patel's assertion that the Epstein files reviewed by the DOJ and FBI contain no revelatory information — which has frustrated critics demanding answers about Epstein's powerful associates — was not a cover-up by the current FBI. Instead, Stone alleged the evidence had been destroyed by former FBI Director Christopher Wray and the Justice Department under President Joe Biden.
The claim echoes broader conspiracy theories circulating in pro-Trump circles suggesting that Epstein's alleged "blackmail material" was systematically covered up to protect elites. Last week Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) also accused the Biden administration of destroying evidence.
Currently, no evidence supports the claim that Biden officials destroyed such records.
So far, Patel and the FBI have not commented publicly on Stone's remarks, nor has the administration given a statement on the allegations against the Biden administration.
