This season of “Archer” started off with a wild premiere. In “White Elephant” the entire structure of the show changed. The ISIS team has been disbanded and the characters have shifted gears to become a cartel. If you are an “Archer” fan you know this has trouble written all over it, especially seeing how a lot of these characters are, well, idiots. The official description for tonight’s episode “Archer Vice: A Kiss While Dying” reads: “Archer, Pam, and Lana travel to Miami to visit some old friends. It’s a fondue party!”
In cased you missed the season premiere, “White Elephant,” here’s what happened. ISIS is raided and disbanded by the government when it transpires that the agency was never sanctioned by them. Cyril, Pam, Cheryl, Krieger and Ray spill the beans about all of ISIS's operations, while Lana and Archer creatively break out of custody, to find that Malory has managed to get everyone off the hook, on the condition that ISIS be dismantled immediately. As the staff discuss what they all plan to do next, Archer reveals a hidden vault containing a literal ton of cocaine and suggests that they form a cartel. “White Elephant” also seen the death of Brett. At least he wont get shot every other episode.
Tonights all-new episode of “Archer” will air on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
