NBA player J.R. Smith has been happily married to his wife Jewel Harris for three years now and has been blessed with three beautiful daughters. But in October 2019, when a video of a Halloween party surfaced where “The Flash” actress Candice Patton and JR Smith can be seen getting comfortable with each other, rumours of their relationship starting spreading. And now his wife, Jewel Harris has confirmed the same in an emotional confession video about her husband cheating on her.

The rumours of Candice Patton and JR Smith’s relationship further spread when Smith was recently seen on IG live hanging out with a dog that looks like Patton’s dog. It was enough to trigger the speculations, following which Smith then started deleting hundreds of Instagram posts where the duo had commented on each other’s posts.

And now, his wife Jewel Harris has cemented the rumours with her video

In the video, posted on Instagram on December 17, 2019, Jewel can be seen looking pretty distraught as she sat alone in a car. She explained how after speaking to her father, the best thing she can do is to pray after learning about her husband’s affair. She offered a prayer for Candice Patton and JR Smith, while accepting that “it’s a battle, it’s an obstacle.” “It hurts, it’s unfortunate, but that’s what it is,” Harris says in the video.

Her followers were surprised by her positive take on the situation as despite being cheated on, she was not only praying for Smith “to find the right path in life” but also for Patton, best known as Iris West, the wife of Barry Allen on the popular CW superhero series “The Flash.”

Harris says in the video, “We are all hurting. Everybody is hurting. Not just me, but my husband, he’s hurting. And Candice, Lord father God. She’s hurting. I pray lord father god for Candice that you please just mend her heart. For her to go out here and sneak a married man. I pray you give her grace and mercy.”

She prayed to God to "go to him (Smith) where he's at right now and shake him up". She also prayed for her children’s protection "in the midst of this foolishness."
