Wednesday is almost over but you could still use a good hump day pick-me-up. Do you like Chicago? The city's bratwurst? What about its draw bridges? If you do, Conan O'Brien presents the trifecta!

Making an insightful observation of the many draw bridges in Chicago, Conan O'Brien realized that when these bridges are raised, it strikes an uncanny resemblance to an epic launch ramp which are perfect for launching "Chicago related things" off of, whatever these things may be.

Conan might be considered a bit eccentric, but the talk show host isn't alone. CoCo announced, "With the permission of the Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Police Department, Chicago Marine Police, Chicago Fire Department, and a lot of people who just seem to like to watch stuff jump and crash, we are doing just that every night! Every night this week, we'll be launching things over the State Street Bridge!"

The show revealed a 10-foot bratwurst as the first flight subject. Long and streamlined, an aerodynamic sausage should perform wonderfully as just the right "Chicago thing" to start things off. Attached to a remote controlled tea tray on 4 wheels with what sounds like a V8 engine (likely dubbed over to overcompensate the less than sensational hum of an electric motor), the package seems to have just the right power-to-weight ratio for a good Dukes of Hazzard leap over the gap!

Unfortunately, vector forces seem to have pulled the miniature Oscar Mayer Weiner mobile to one side during its mid-air flight, compromising the landing approach of Chicago's iconic street meat. Hitting the pavement sideways, the landing gear sent shockwaves into the huge bratwurst, cracking it to pieces. Despite its violent end, the bratwurst successfully made it across the bridge.
