Demi Lovato has been focusing on her recovery following her apparent overdose last year. Lovato is grateful for the support her family, friends and fans have given her throughout her journey to sobriety. Fellow former Disney star friends, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, are a few of the celebrities who have supported her privately.

As for Nick Jonas, he took to Twitter to wish Lovato well. “Like all of you I am reeling at the news about Demi,” wrote Jonas. “All of us love her and need to pray for her to get well. She is a fighter.”

At the time of Lovato’s relapse, Jonas got engaged to Priyanka Chopra. A month before Jonas and Chopra’s December 2018 wedding, Lovato checked herself out of rehab. She was in rehab for three months following her overdose in July and didn’t get to attend her friend’s wedding. Apparently, Us Weekly's source reveals that Lovato “wasn't invited” to Jonas' wedding. The magazine reports that Lovato was upset. “It broke her heart,” said the source.

Lovato currently does not follow Jonas on Instagram (Jonas still follows her). Even so, the source said that Lovato wishes him and Chopra the best.

Lovato and Jonas have been best friends since their Disney days. They immediately became close after filming the movie “Camp Rock.” Lovato briefly went on tour with the Jonas Brothers in 2010. They went their separate ways after that time but were reunited in Lovato’s 2012 tour. In 2015, they created their own record label and went on tour together.

Just recently, she opened up to fans about her sobriety journey. “I don’t regret going out because I needed to make those mistakes but I must never forget that’s exactly what they were: mistakes,” she wrote in her Instagram story.

“If you’ve relapsed and are afraid to get help again, just know it’s possible to take that step towards recovery. If you’re alive today, you can make it back. You’re worth it,” Lovato concluded in her post.

Lovato has been focusing more on herself by taking on jiu-jitsu as a hobby to help stay active and keep her in great shape. Meanwhile, Jonas has been focusing more on his marriage life and his comeback with the Jonas Brothers.
