After unifying the WWE and Universal championship, it remains to be seen how long Roman Reigns will hang on to them. Some stars could slug it out with the “Tribal Chief” but seeing the titles change hands is another story.

Right now, the WWE allegedly has no plans of altering the script. According to WWE President Nick Khan, WWE isn't slowing down its plans for "The Head of the Table" anytime soon.

Aside from that, online sportsbooks reveal that most see the “Head of the Table” being either Universal champion or WWE champion until the end of the year.

Hence, the best to expect is to see Reigns possibly dropping one of the titles. Between the two belts, it may be wiser to hold on to the Universal title – assuming the WWE wants to set a record of sorts.

Then again, the WWE could always alter that and divert its attention to the WWE championship which Reigns could hold for some time and yet set another record.

Either way, the question is who will step up to the plate and challenge Reigns. Two names come to mind – Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes.

McIntyre took a backseat and it makes sense for him to get another push.

Rhodes, on the other hand, has just returned to the WWE fold although is currently embroiled in a feud with Seth Rollins. At some point, he could get a shot at the WWE title but that all depends on how well he is received by the WWE universe.

And Brock Lesnar?

There is no clarity on what the future holds for the “Beast Incarnate.” He is advertised for two major WWE events in the coming months.

A video of him hanging out with Sheamus was spotted, hinting at possibly seeing both potentially doing a storyline. As far as another run at the WWE title, it is as good as anyone's guess for now.
