It's safe to say that Charlie Zaa has been missing in action, even though he toured with Sergio George's "Salsa Giants" and has performed at many places in the last couple of years.

The Colombian singer, who last released "De Bohemia" in 2009, announced he will debut "Mi Mejor Regalo" ---a tribute album to the late Joan Sebastián. Zaa began working on his production over a year ago, before El Rey del Jaripeo's passing.

"Mi Mejor Regalo," which will be released by Sony Music in the fall, was produced by Latin GRAMMY winner Sergio George, who believed that Joan's hits would best suit Zaa. The album, which was envisioned as a musical homage to Sebastian's career, was recorded between November 2014 and February 2015 ---five months before his death on July 13.

The now-posthumous production includes 10 of Joan's renowned singles, including "Me Gustas," "Tu y Yo," "25 Rosas" and "Secretos de Amor" recorded in Zaa's authentic bolero and fusion sound. Listen to his bachata cover of "Un Idiota" below:
