Mexican singer Kalimba knows exactly what Venezuelan actor Fernando Carrillo is going though. As he too, knows what it's like to be accused by a woman of a crime he didn't commit.

Carillo recently accepted the sentence ordered by the judge after facing sexual assault charges for forcing a kiss to a security guard in Miami. The telenovela actor was arrested back in November 2014 after Beline Castor, a woman who works as a security guard in the building where Carrillo lives in Miami, Fla., accused him of force-kissing her, according to police reports.

Five years back, the 32-year-old former OV7 singer was also caught in a similar dilemma. He was issued an arrest warrant in Mexico after he allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl named Daiana Guzmán in a hotel room after a concert in Chetumal, Quintana Roo.

When asked by "Suelta La Sopa" to send a piece of advice for Carrillo during these tough times, the "No Me Quiero Enamorar" singer said, "This advice is not only for him, but for everyone to pay attention." "God will always bring the truth to light and God always acts fairly," he added. "I had good lawyers, but they weren't the ones who got me out of there. God is the one who deserves all the credit, and that's why I owe it all to him."

On "lighter news," TV y Novelas has reported that Daiana Guzmán has given birth to a healthy baby boy. We wonder if Kalimba has a piece of advice for her to.
