MTV Millennial Awards 2014 Nominations: Lucero Animal Hunting, Cristian Castro Saiote Nominated For ‘Epic Fail’ Plus Complete List Of Finalists Here!

The 2nd Annual MTV Millennial Awards finalists in contention for a nomination have been revealed. MTV Latin America will honor and celebrate the best in pop culture and the digital world. The award show is the only place where celebrities, bloggers and viral stars come together in a massive event to he held in August 12 at the Pepsi Center in México City. One of the categories getting the most buzz is #EpicFail where many of the most awkward moments of the year are nominated after they became viral hits in social media. The finalists for this category include, the infamous Lucero hunting photo scandal, Cristian Castro and his saiote, Kendall Jenner's failure to being able to read the auto cue, Lucía Méndez tweeting an altered photo of herself in place of Sandra Bullock and an Azteca reporter asking Alfonso Cuarón about the difficulties of filming "Gravity" in space.

"After the overwhelming multi-platform success of the first edition, with great honor we confirm the second edition of the MTV Millennial Awards in México and we promise that this year will be bigger and full of moments that you will not want to miss," says Eduardo Lebrija, VP Senior General Director of Viacom México. "It is not only an award show, it's the celebration of the incredible millennial generation and what is really relevant to them in multiple categories that range from digital to musical, even the content that went viral throughout the year." The show will air in MTV Latin America on Sunday, August 17. Millennials can start voting for their favorite finalists here, with the final nominations to be revealed soon.
