While EA Sports’ latest soccer game "FIFA 14" continues to rise in popularity, the sports video game superpower is exciting gamers everywhere with the announcement that a World Cup-themed game is on the way. The FIFA series has never struggled on the market since soccer remains the most popular sport in the world but with one of the planet’s premier sporting events on the horizon, EA Sports felt it necessary to add their own version of the world’s game into the video game universe. Though the summer tournament does not begin until June, soccer and gaming fans will be able to experience the World Cup through the latest top-level product.

Set to officially release on April 15, 2014, "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil" will be similar to "FIFA 14" from a gameplay standpoint but with a focus solely on the international game. Each of the 32 teams making an appearance in this year’s tournament will be featured along with thousands of the top footballers in the world. Adding 203 national teams, 19 officially licensed managers, a total of 7,469 athletes and 21 of the world’s top stadiums, EA Sports has engineered a game that will certainly prepare all who play it for the highly anticipated tournament. Releasing official information on what gamers can expect, EA Sports says this game will make each player feel the real-life athleticism of each footballer.

EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil features multiple innovations and improvements to the award-winning gameplay of EA SPORTS FIFA 14, putting players in control of their nation’s fate. From the ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly on and off the ball with Explosive Movement, to the new World Class Control feature that uses Response Dribbling and Pinpoint Passing, fans will feel the athleticism and skill of their national football heroes. And one hundred new animations, including passing, saves, and penalty kicks, help play on the pitch explode with the drama and unpredictably of the official tournament.

Though the game will not be available for purchase until April 15, fans can pre-order "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil" by visiting the EA Sports website. Exclusive game content including new celebrations, Adidas game balls and more will come along with the preorder.
