Galilea Montijo had time to catch up with her friends from People En Español at their "Los 50 Mas Bellos" gala earlier this week. Flaunting a deep-cleavage black dress with a rock-n-roll inspired hairdo, Montijo talked about inner and outer beauty to host Carolina Trejos.

"One of my qualities, I don't know if it's a good thing or a band thing, I think it's good, is that I express everything with my eyes," said Montijo, who is on the magazine cover of this year's "50 Most Beautiful People" edition. "If I'm happy, you can tell in my eyes. If I'm mad, you can tell in my eyes. I can't hide things," she added. "I don't know if that's a quality or a defect, but I think it's a quality," she insisted.

The 42-year-old TV host and actress from Guadalajara, Mexico, also appeared in People en Español anti-bullying campaign, where she and other celebrities sent empowering messages.

When asked by Trejos about what makes people beautiful, Montijo said, "I think that as time passes by and maybe after your forties, I have recognized my flaws, or better yet, my defects and my qualities. One of the qualities is to know all the good and bad things you have."

"Another quality is to recognize that not everything in life is beauty," she continued. "When you feel happy with yourself, you will reflect that. Automatically, your beauty from the inside will be seen on the outside and everyone will notice."

New York City was sizzling this week with the hottest Latino celebrities in town for the television Upfronts. People En Español took advantage that the stars were nearby to organize a party and celebrate their "Los 50 Más Bellos" issue.

At the event, the stars of "Tres Veces Ana," Angelique Boyer and Sebastían Rulli walked the arrivals carpet together and posed in their fashionable ensembles. Other big celebs who attended include Maite Perroni, Alice Braga, Galilea Montijo, Ximena Duque and more. There was also a "B**ch Stole My Look" moment with "Orange Is The New Black" actress Dascha Polanco. Check out our photo gallery!
